LEGAL NOTICE
REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR PAVEMENT MANAGEM ENT SYSTEM
CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA
The City of Bozeman will receive proposals from legal entities authorized to do business in the State of
Montana for the purpose of providing PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
as detailed in a Request for Proposal.
General scope includes: inventory and pavement condition assessment per ASTM D6433-11, and
development of a Pavement Restoration Plan for 226 centerline miles of roadway within Bozeman City
Limits.
Proposals must be received by 5:00 p.m. on September 5, 2013 by the City of Bozeman Engineering
Division, 20 East Olive Street, Bozeman, Montana 59715 to be considered for review. Late proposals
shall not be considered and will be returned unopened to the proposer. The City of Bozeman and its
agents reserve the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any formality and technicality.
Please write the name of the project: Pavement Management System
on the front of the sealed RFP.
The RFP is available upon request by calling 406-582-2273 and is available for download on the ‘Bids and
Projects’ webpage at www.bozeman.net. The City will select the most qualified proposer for contract
negotiation in accordance with Title 18, Chapter 8, Part 2, Montana Code Annotated.
Each entity submitting under this notice shall also include a provision requiring the submitting
entity to affirm in writing it will not discriminate on the basis of color, religion, creed, sex, age,
marital status, national origin, or because of actual or perceived sexual orientation, gender
identity or disability and recognizing the eventual contract will contain a provision prohibiting
discrimination as described above and this prohibition on discrimination shall apply to the
hiring and treatment of the architects employees and to all subcontracts. Failure to comply with
the above shall be cause for the City to deem the submittal non-responsive.
