1896
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN TO DETERMINE THE
AMOUNT OF THE ALL-PURPOSE ANNUAL MILL LEVY, TO BE LEVIED AND ASSESSED ON
TAXABLE PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, STATE OF MONTANA, FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 1978.

Section 1: That, pursuant to the provisions of Section 84-4701.1 and Section 84-4701.6
I Political Code, Revised Codes of Montana, 1947, there is hereby levied and assessed on the
taxable
percentum of the assessed value of the taxable property of the City of Bozeman, State of Montana,
as fixed and found by the Board of County Commissioners of Gallatin County, Montana, sitting as
a County Board of Equalization for the current fiscal year ending 30 June 1978, an all purpose
annual mill levy of 65 mills for all municipal purposes in lieu of the multiple levies authorized
by statute, which levy does not include any levy necessary to service and pay bond indebtedness of
judgements in addition to the all purpose levy as provided in Section 84-4701.1 and 84-4701.6.
Section 2: That, pursuant to the provisions of Political Code, R.C.M., 1947,
there is hereby
levied and assessed on the taxable percentum of the assessed value of the taxable property of the
City of Bozeman,State of Montana, for the current fiscal year ending 30 June 1978, for Police
Reserve/Training a special tax of 2.0 mills on each dollar of taxable percentum of the assessed
value thereof and the money derived therefrom shall be paid into the Police Reserve/Training
Fund and shall be disbursed as provided by the Bozeman Municipal Code;
Section 3: That, pursuant to the provisions of Political Code, R.C.M., 1947,
there is
hereby levied and assessed on the taxable percentum of the assessed value of the taxable property
of the City of Bozeman, State of Montana, for the current fiscal year ending 30 June 1978,
for
Health/Medical Insurance a special tax of 3.0 mills on each dollar of taxable percentum of the
assessed value thereof and the money derived therefrom shall be paid into the Health/Medical
Insurance fund and shall be disbursed as provided by the Bozeman Municipal Code;
Section 4: That pursuant to the provisions of Political Code, R.C.M., 1947,
there is
hereby levied and assessed on the taxable per centum of the assessed value of the taxable property
I of the City of Bozeman, State of Montana, for the current fiscal year ending 30 June 1978,
for
Liability Insurance a special tax of 2.0 mills on each dollar of taxable per centum of the assessed
value thereof and the money derived therefrom shall be paid into the Liability Insurance Fund
and shall be disbursed as provided by the Bozeman Municipal Code;
Section 5: that, pursuant to the provisions of Section 11-2232 and Section 84-4701.6,
R. C.M. , 1947, there is hereby levi~d and assessed upon the assessed value of all taxable property
within the limits of the City of Bozeman for the fiscal year ending 30 June 1978, a tax of 7.0 mills
on the dollar of such assessed valuation for the purpose of providing a Sinking Fund for the
payment of interest and principal due on the outstanding General Obligation Bonds of the City of
Bozeman.
Section 6: That, pursuant to the provisions of Section 11-2232 and Section 84-4701.6, R.C.M.,
1947, there is hereby levied and assessed upon the assessed value of all taxable property within
the limits of the City of Bozeman for the fiscal year ending 30 June 1978, a tax of 0.5 mills on
the dollar of such assessed valuation for deposit in the Special Improvement District Revolving
Fund of the City of Bozeman.
Section 7: That, pursuant to the provisions of Section 84-4729, R.C.M., 1947,
the total
levy of taxes for the current fiscal year ending 30 June 1978, by reason of foregoing determination,
will and shall be 79.5 mills.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Commission of the City of Bozeman at a special session thereof
held on the 8th day of August, 1977 .
