HomeMy WebLinkAbout04-22-13 LINKED City Commission Agenda THE CITY COMMISSION MEETING OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA AGENDA Monday, April 22, 2013 Call to Order – 6 p.m. – Commission Room, City Hall, 121 North Rouse Pledge of Allegiance and a Moment of Silence Changes to the Agenda Consent Authorize Payment of Accounts Payable Claims (LaMeres) Authorize City Manager to sign a Fire Hydrant Easement to allow a new Hydrant to be added at 7th Avenue and Mendenhall Street when the Water Main is Replaced (Murray) Authorize City Manager to sign a Notice of Award to Omdahl Excavating & Utilities, Inc. for the 2013 Water Renovations Project in the amount of $995,236 (Murray) Approve Depository Bonds and Pledged Securities as of March 31, 2013 (Clark) Finally Adopt Ordinance No. 1856, Amending Bozeman Municipal Code Sections 2.03.520, clarifying standards for Conflicts of Interest, 2.03.560 clarifying provisions related to Post Employment Activities and 2.03.570 regarding Disclosure of Post Employment Activities (Brunckhorst) Consider the motion: I move to approve Consent Items D. 1-5 as submitted. Public Comment - Please state your name and address in an audible tone of voice for the record. This is the time for individuals to comment on matters falling within the purview of the Bozeman City Commission. There will also be an opportunity in conjunction with each agenda item for comments pertaining to that item. Please limit your comments to three minutes. Action Items Meadow Creek Subdivision Phase 1, Preliminary Plat for Amended Plat of Lot 1, Block 4, located southeast of the intersection of West Graf Street and South 27th Avenue, Application P-13004 (Quasi-Judicial) (Skelton) Consider the motion: Having reviewed the application, considered public comment, and the staff analysis, I hereby adopt the findings presented in the staff report for application P-13004 and move to approve the preliminary plat application for the amended plat of Lot 1, Block 4, Meadow Creek Subdivision, Phase 1, subject to conditions listed in Planning Board Resolution P-13004. Map Brewing Company Conditional Use Permit, 510 Manley Road, Application Z-13037 (Quasi-Judicial) (Riley) Consider the motion: Having reviewed the application, considered public comment, and all information presented, I hereby adopt the findings presented in the staff report for application Z-13037 and move to approve the conditional use permit with conditions and subject to all applicable code provisions. Recreation and Parks Advisory Board and Staff Recommendations for Proceeding with Recreation and Aquatics Facilities Feasibility Study (Overton) Consider the motion: I move to accept the recommendations of staff and the Recreation and Parks Advisory Board and direct staff to proceed with further concept and design work as it relates to the Bogert Park aquatic alteration and to report back to the City Commission with the recommended final design and cost within sixty days and to continue partnership meetings with interested parties for the potential future replacement of Bogert Pool at a new location within the city. Appointment to the Planning Board (Brunckhorst) Consider the motion: I move to confirm the Mayoral appointment of [one applicant] to the Planning Board. FYI/Discussion There will not be a City Commission meeting on Monday, April 29th as the Commission does not meet on the fifth Monday of the month.
