HomeMy WebLinkAbout04-08-13 LINKED City Commission Agenda THE CITY COMMISSION MEETING OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA AGENDA Monday, April 8, 2013 Call to Order – 6 p.m. – Commission Room, City Hall, 121 North Rouse Pledge of Allegiance and a Moment of Silence Changes to the Agenda Minutes – March 4, 2013 Consider the motion: I move to approve the minutes of March 4th, 2013 as submitted. Consent Authorize Payment of Accounts Payable Claims (LaMeres) Consider the motion: I move to approve Consent item E. 1 as submitted. Public Comment - Please state your name and address in an audible tone of voice for the record. This is the time for individuals to comment on matters falling within the purview of the Bozeman City Commission. There will also be an opportunity in conjunction with each agenda item for comments pertaining to that item. Please limit your comments to three minutes. Action Items Provisional Adoption of Ordinance No. 1856, amending the Bozeman Municipal Code (Code of Ethics) clarifying standards for conflict of interest and provisions and disclosure related to post employment activities (Brunckhorst) Consider the motion: I move to provisionally adopt Ordinance 1856, amending the Bozeman Municipal Code Sections 2.03.520 (clarifying standards for conflicts of interest), 2.03.560 (clarifying provisions related to post employment activities) and 2.03.570 (regarding disclosure of post employment activities). Determine Remedy for Exergy Friends of the Story Mansion's Default on Agreement to Purchase the Story Mansion and Develop a Permanent Plan for the Story Mansion (Kukulski) Consider the motion: Finding Exergy Friends of the Story Mansion in default of the Agreement to Sell and Purchase Real Property for not having closed by the time required in the Addendum to the Agreement, I move the City terminate the Agreement. AND Consider the motion: I move to direct the City Manager to investigate option numbers [insert numbers here] presented in this memorandum to develop a permanent plan for the Story Mansion. FYI/Discussion Exec utive Session - City Manager Evaluation Follow Up The Mayor may close to the public all or portions of this executive session pursuant to Sect. 2-3-203(3), MCA, if discussion relates to a matter of individual privacy and the Mayor determines the demands of the individual’s privacy clearly exceed the merits of public disclosure. The right of individual privacy may be waived by the individual about whom the discussion pertains and, in that event, the meeting must be opened.
