SUBJECT: Award bid for new Front End Loader FY 13 CIP STR 09
MEETING DATE: March 4, 2013
AGENDA ITEM TYPE: Consent
RECOMMENDATION: Award bid to Tractor and Equipment of Billings MT in the amount of $174,024.
BACKGROUND: T&E was the lowest base bid at $129,324. With the attachments of snow
plow, leaf claw, material arm, pallet forks, an extended warranty, the total comes to $174,024.
This total is still the lowest bid. $175,479 was budgeted in the FY 13 Street Maintenance.
UNRESOLVED ISSUES: None.
ALTERNATIVES: As suggested by the City Commission
FISCAL EFFECTS: The total is $1,455 less than what was budgeted. This loader will replace
a 1978 loader.
