Pledge of Allegiance and a Moment of Silence C. Changes to the Agenda D. Public Service Announcement – Community Alcohol Concerns and DUI Task Force Annual Report (Jenny Haubenreiser and Jenna Caplette) E. Authorize Absence of Mayor Becker. Consider the motion: I move to approve the absence of Mayor Becker. F. Consent 1. Authorize Payment of Accounts Payable Claims (LaMeres) 2. Approve Bid Award in the amount of $64,685 to RDO Equipment Company for a Mini Excavator to be used by Water/Wastewater Operations Department and the Street Department (Alston) 3. Approve Bid Award in the amount of $174,024 to Tractor and Equipment of Billings for a Front End Loader for the Streets Department (Van Delinder) 4. Approve Canceling the City Commission meeting the week of March 11th (Ulmen) Consider the motion: I move to approve consent items F. 1-4 as submitted. G. Public Comment - Please state your name and address in an audible tone of voice for the record. This is the time for individuals to comment on matters falling within the purview of the Bozeman City Commission. There will also be an opportunity in conjunction with each agenda item for comments pertaining to that item. Please limit your comments to three minutes. H. Action Items 1. Presentation from community service providers interested in applying for funding for an Economic Development project through the Community 3 Development Block Grant from the Montana Department of Commerce (Stocks) No motion needed. 2. Provisional Adoption of Ordinance No. 1863, amending the Municipal Code by replacing the Department of Planning with Department of Community Development and replacing references to the Director of Planning with Director of Community Development (Kukulski) Consider the motion: I move to provisionally adopt Ordinance 1863, amending the Municipal Code by replacing the Department of Planning with Department of Community Development and replacing references to the Director of Planning with Director of Community Development. 3. Provisional Adoption of Ordinance No. 1864, removing the Bozeman Senior Citizens’ Advisory Board from the Municipal Code by removing all sections of Chapter 2, Article 5, Division 13 (Brunckhorst) Consider the motion: I move to provisionally adopt Ordinance 1864, removing the Bozeman Senior Citizens’ Advisory Board from the Municipal Code. 4. Appointment to the Cemetery Advisory Board (Brunckhorst) Consider the motion: I move to appoint [up to one applicant] to the Cemetery Advisory Board. 5. Reappointment to the Zoning Commission (Brunckhorst) Consider the motion: I move to reappoint Erik Garberg to the Zoning Commission. 6. 2013 Legislative Session Update / Commission may give direction to Staff on pending legislation (Kukulski) Consider providing direction to staff regarding pending State Legislation.
