1/25/2013 Riley’s Bridge is open and the old trail and bridge have been closed
with jackleg fence sections. GVLT will work with City Parks
Department to remove the old bridge later this winter. We expect to
dedicate the new bridge on National Trails Day, June 1,2013.

12/31/2013 We have signed the land use permit with DNRC. We will begin getting
bids in February and will construct the trail as soon as weather permits
in 2013 and formalize the trail easement with the State of Montana by
the end of 2013.

3/8/2013 The GVLT Board of Directors has approved transferring the
Sourdough Canyon Trailhead property to the US Forest Service. Due
diligence is underway and we expect the transfer to be complete by
year-end or early 2013.

Private donors, REI 12/31/2013 We are working with the Hospital to potentially negotiate use of their
land east of Highland Blvd. for development of single-track, year-
round trails. If they give us permission, we expect to proceed with
permitting for stream crossings and construct trails in the summer of
2013.

3/31/2013 We will be installing new posters at 6-9 more kiosks throughout the
winter. We are also inventorying all trail totems and will be updating
signage accordingly through the winter.

12/31/14 GVLT has been awarded a RTP grant with the funds to be used to
build a new bridge in the Regional Park, salary for our trail boss, weed
control, trail gravel, and trail system signing.
