Gallatin County and the City of Bozeman. N. 19"' Interchange 1-90,the interchange ramps, and the crossroad from the intersection with Springhill Road (FAS41 1)to the intersection with East Valley Center Drive (FAS235) and the portion of Springhill Road lying between Old US 10 (FAS205) and the junction of N. 19" and Springhill Road. MDT will also maintain North 19t" Street from East Valley Center Drive (FAS235) south to Main Street (FAP50), with the exception of the mowing of grass in the raised medians between Durston and Main, which will continue to be done by the City of Bozeman. I East Valley Center Drive (FAS235) from N. IV', under 1-90 to 205. X16865 - 2201 NIP 0.0 - 0.1 Valley Center County Road This route is located north of 1-90 at MP 303.6. This route begins where it intersects 5205 MP 25.5 at MP 0.0, then travels south under 1-90 to provide access to local county roads. The bike path and the sidewalk will be maintained by the County. X16209 NIP 0.0 - 1.0 Haggerty Lane This route starts at MP 90.4 +/- on P50 and goes southeast for 1.0 mile. This is a state highway. Gallatin County will plow this route. When the City plows Ellis Street in the early morning they will also plow the parking lane of Haggerty from Ellis to Main, as needed. MDT will assume all other maintenance responsibilities on this route. MDT will also continue to maintain the intersection of Jackrabbit Lane and Amsterdam Road. The following roads, which have historically been maintained by Gallatin County for MDT, will continue to be maintained by Gallatin County. These routes are all roads which pass under 1-90 and connect to County-maintained roads and are under 0.2 miles in length. X16045 - 2201 NIP 2.2 - 2.3 Frontage Road—Manhattan—this route is located south of 1-90 at MP 287.6. This route travels north under 1-90 to provide access to county roads on each side of 1-90. X16063 - 2201 MP 0.1 - 0.3 Heeb Lane County Road This route is located north of 1-90 at MP 291.6. This route begins where it intersects 5205 MP 13.8 at NIP 0.1, then travels south under 1-90 to provide access to local county roads, X16150 - 2201 MP 0,1 - 0.3 Central Park County Road This route is located north of 1-90 at MP 293.2. This route begins where it intersects 5205 MP 15.4 at MP 0.1, then travels south to provide access to local routes on each side of 1-90. X16204 - 2210 NIP 0.2 - 0.3 Fort Ellis Road This route is located south of 1-90 at MP 311.0. This route travels north under 1-90 to provide access to local housing on each side of 1-90. 2 Gallatin County will also continue to plow: Kagy Blvd. East of Highland Blvd. County will plow. City will maintain annexed portions. X16209 MP 0.0 - 1.0 Haggerty Lane This route starts at MP 90.4 +/- on P50 and goes southeast for 1.0 mile. This is a state highway. Gallatin County will plow this route. MDT will assume all other maintenance responsibilities on this route. Manley Road from Griffin Drive north. If it is not yet plowed when the City goes to plow the Gallatin Industrial Park Subdivision, the City will plow from Griffin Drive to the north loop of Gallatin Park Drive. Story Mill Road between Bridger Drive and Wallace Avenue. The City or County,whoever gets to it first, will plow Story Mill. City will maintain. Harper Puckett north of Baxter.City will maintain city section. County will plow. Cottonwood south of I luffine to canal. County will plow. City will clean up turn lanes and maintain. The following streets have historically been maintained by the City of Bozeman and will continue to be so maintained. U1203 MP 1.1 - 1.3 1.1°i Avenue South X16699 -2201 MP 0.0 - 0.1 L Street by Idaho Pole This route is located under 1-90 at MP 308.0. Durston Road The City of Bozeman will assume all maintenance on this route to the end of the pavement past Cottonwood Road to Westgate Avenue. E. Griffin Drive (Rouse to Story Mill Road) S. Church (Main St. to Kagy Blvd) South 19"' Avenue (FAU1201) from Main Street (P50) south to Blackwood Road. The City of Bozeman will plow if not already done by the County. South 19"'Avenue south of Blackwood Road will be maintained by the County. 3 McIllhatten Road -to end of the pavement. County will plow gravel road. City and County will discuss possible joint project to improve gravel portion with millings. Guardrail will be needed if paved "as is." N. 25"' - from Beall to Durston. City will plow N. 251x' from Babcock to Beall with the grader when they do residential streets in the area. Babcock Street (Main St. to Cottonwood) Davis Lane from Baxter Lane, north to Valley Center Road. The City will plow and maintain this route. Baxter Lane— from North 7"'Avenue (FAU1207). The City of Bozeman will assume all maintenance on this route from North 7"' Avenue to North 191h Avenue, and from North 19"' west to Andalusian Lane, as Priority 2. Willow Way, between Lincoln and Kagy. The City will plow when Lincoln Street is plowed. Story Mill Road between Bridger Drive and Wallace Avenue. The City or County,whoever gets to it first,will plow Story Mill. South P Avenue from Kagy to Goldenstein Lane. The City of Bozeman will also continue to perform routine maintenance on the MDT constructed storm sewer system. Flanders Mill Road from Baxter Lane to Durston Road. The section was improved with millings summer of 2006, and there was concern the base will not hold through frost-heaving but it has so far. City will patch if they occur. Moss Bridge Road. City will plow and maintain. It is further agreed that the above defined maintenance responsibilities will remain in effect until modified by mutual agreement of all the parties. This agreement will be reviewed annually. No functional classification or Federal aid status will be changed by this agreement. All billing for lighting energy costs shall remain unchanged. MDT will continue to operate its Adopt-A- Highway program on S. 191h and Haggerty Lane until the adopting groups can be relocated to areas maintained by MDT. MDT will maintain Adopt-A-Highway signage and continue to remove litter bags until relocation occurs. 4 Agreed to this 25th day of October, 2012. _..,�., Date Signed: .. �..
