HomeMy WebLinkAboutCTEP Pathway Project advertisementCity of Bozeman Request for Proposals for Engineering and Overseeing The CTEP Pathway Project The City of Bozeman is seeking a qualified Firm to engineer and oversee the CTEP pathway project from 11th and College to Huffine and Ferguson. The project will involve removal of some existing sidewalk, upgrading to a 10 foot wide pathway, extending the pathway to College and Huffine, crossing Huffine and continuing west to Ferguson. The pathway project is approximately 2 miles long. Roughly .85 miles is existing sidewalk – to be replaced and upgraded – and .65 miles will be new pathway. All sections of pathway shall comply with ADA standards and should incorporate gentle meander where practical. There are two areas that will require bridges or culverts and a safe and efficient crossing will need to be designed at College and Huffine. The scope of work includes – but is not limited to; Design engineering Environmental reviews and clearance Right-of-way deed or easements Construction Construction engineering and oversight A map illustrating the project location is available upon request and arrangements can be made for a site visit. All hand-delivered Proposals must be received at the office of the City Clerk, 411 East Main Street, Bozeman, MT, no later than 4:00 PM local time, March 14, 2008. Mailed proposals must be received by March 14, 2008, and sent to Attention of the City Clerk, P.O. Box 1230, Bozeman, MT 59771. A total of 5 (five) copies of the proposal will need to be submitted for the selection committee to review. Please state “CTEP Pathway Project” on the outside of the response package.
