HomeMy WebLinkAboutFire Station 3 and 911 Center Bid AdvertisementFire Station No. 3 / 911 Center CITY OF BOZEMAN and GALLATIN COUNTY, MONTANA ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS City of Bozeman Fire Station No. 3 and the Gallatin County 911 Communication Center Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the combined facility called the City of Bozeman Fire Station No. 3 and the Gallatin County 911 Communication Center will be received by the City Clerk’s office of the Bozeman City Clerk, 411 East Main Street, Bozeman, Montana, 59715 until 5 p.m., Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at which time the proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud in the City Commission Room. Bids shall be submitted on forms provided with the Contract Documents. Contract Documents may be obtained from the office of ThinkOne, 101 East Main Street, Studio One, Bozeman, MT 59715 Ph: (406) 586-7020 and Fax: (406) 586-8470, upon payment of a deposit of $200 per set. Please make checks payable to Gallatin County Commission. Deposit will be refunded upon return of the document in good condition not later than 15 days following the bid opening. A pre-bid conference has been scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 4, 2008 in the Community Room in the County Courthouse. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is not mandatory; however, it is strongly suggested in order to familiarize you with the project site and existing conditions. Bid bonds are not required. If required, the successful bidder will furnish an acceptable Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in amounts of 100 percent (100%) of the Contract sum, within ten (10) days after the award of the Contract. Each prime bidder or subcontractor shall register with the State of Montana within 10 days after the Award of Contract. The contractor and all subcontractors shall comply with all state and federal fair labor practices. All contractors and subcontractors must pay all workers performing labor on this project the Montana prevailing wage rates for District 6 for all construction contracts over $25,000. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid for at least sixty (60) days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids, except as noted in the Information for Bidders. The City of Bozeman and Gallatin County, hereinafter called the Owners, reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formality or technicality in any proposal in the interest of the Owner.
