SUBJECT: Reappointments to the Impact Fee Advisory Committee
MEETING DATE: December 17, 2012
MEETING TYPE: Consent
RECOMMENDATION: Reappoint two members to the Impact Fee Advisory Committee.
BACKGROUND: Three terms on this Committee expire December 31, 2012. Two members
with expiring terms have reapplied. One ongoing vacancy remains on the Committee for a
certified public accountant.
The Impact Fee Advisory Committee, established under 7-6-1604, MCA, shall consist of nine
members to be appointed by the City Commission. The members shall be
the City Engineer;
the City Finance Director; a certified public accountant who shall hold no other public office or employment;
1 builder;
1 land developer;
2 citizens of Bozeman not employed in the development industry; and
2 other members as selected by the City Commission.
A majority of members must be residents of the City of Bozeman. Appointments are made for
two years. The Committee will act in an advisory capacity to the City Commission.
This board currently has one ongoing vacancy, three terms expiring and two reapplying
members.
