Review Timeline, Scope of Work, Budget
Checked in, saw that we are close to finishing the SOW originally defined for this group. We’re now working
on finishing the website, and still developing our overall outreach strategy. Discussion on other ways we can plug into existing events – the Chasing Ice movie @ Boz Film Festival, Bozeman
Business and Professional Women, Green Drinks, Library Live your Passion Lecture Series, League of Women Voters. Outreach strategy can still be refined. Magnets to increase visibility.
Suggestion of Promotions West for printing.
Discussion of budget. Note that the Idle-Free and 10% Challenge are projects of the BCP, so moving some money around between them can be considered.

Outstanding Items
Quarterly Newsletter
First should include information on who we are, as well as campaigns and news.
People who will work on first newsletter: Meyer, with assistance
from Beswick and Sinnott.
News & Events
At this point, we will populate with only city-sponsored things. Otherwise, we set ourselves up to have to pick and choose. Could re-consider
this in the future.
Remaining Deliverables
Sustainability Guide
General 2-pager for any event. Similar to the one from the Portland CAN.
Talk to PDX, see how they got the food and ‘stuff’ percentages separated out. Not typical ICLEI reporting protocol – are their #s national averages? We’d like to do something similar…
Display
Board
We’re thinking a metal and/or reclaimed wood one, which could be used for many purposes. With magnets (or tacks), we could change the info displayed easily. It would be intriguing
(different than they typical display board), and easily molded to whatever use is at hand (kids, snowsports, idling-focused, or building-focused, etc).
Facebook Page
Will work with new
IT manager and legal to see how we should proceed. Lots to consider about following internal social media protocol.
Value would be pushing events out to public.
Magnets
Simple logo
and website will work well to push out our info, and promote selves.
Other Ideas
Bar Trivia (Bentley). Great idea – see if we can fit into these existing events… get some climate change
and/or energy use trivia thrown in there.
Pechakucha (Bentley will try and get something together.).
