Box 1230 Bozeman, MT. 59771 (406) 582-2910 Aquatics Division Report November 2012 Last month was a good month for the Aquatics division. We completed the structural engineering and we are just waiting to hear back on the result. Early indicators are that we will have to do a little, but nothing major. We have implemented a new program in which secret swimmers are looking for the most professional shifts. The shifts that are voted the most professional earn small prizes as motivation to do their job the best. We have completed our change over to CO2 for pH control, and it has been very successful. We will have savings over liquid acid in the range of $700 per month, not to mention that it is much safer for the staff to handle. We are looking into pool toys to create more family times at the Swim Center. Hopefully within the next two months we will be creating new family swim times on the weekend. Swim lesson continue to be full, and as we move into high school swim team season, the pool is very crowded. Last week we had over 1000 visits to the pool. Next month we will be looking at making sure that we can have some recreational swim time during the winter break, and finishing up our CIP and budget planning.
