Please explain your relevant qualifications, interests and experiences: I have used alternative
transportation for over 30 years, and firmly believe in educating those who chose to use it. My choice is
by bicycle, and would love to see those who do the same to have the knowledge to keep them safe. It
also helps to educate those who chose to drive on the rules cyclists and pedestrians follow so we all can
have a positive experience in our community

The Bozeman City Charter voted in by the citizens of Bozeman in 2008 requires yearly ethics training. If
appointed, do you understand you will be expected to take online and in person ethics trainings?: Yes
Is there any other information you feel may be relevant to your application?: Because of my in-town
biking and pedestrian experience, I feel I can be of great help to the board While living in Missoula, I
spoke numerous times with Phil Smith (Program Manager of Bicycle, Pedestrian Program) and had an

excellent understanding of the laws pertaining to those who chose alternative transportation.
How did you hear about this board or vacancy?: Word of mouth, and asking at the bike shops about
such a board here in Bozeman
