HomeMy WebLinkAboutOctober 2012 Streamline / Galavan Directors Report / Director’s Report October 23, 2012 STREAMLINE: 601 is at Kamp with a leaking EGR cooler. 604 is parked at our bus barn and is being used for parts. Everything else is up and running, although there is a recall on 611. We should see a couple of new Streamline busses the early part of December which will be a welcome site. A new Galavan should also be showing up about the same time. We have renewed contracts with both Bridger Bowl and Bohart Ranch at an hourly rate of $60. This represents a $5.00 an hour increase and should total about $13,000 depending on the snow and ski conditions. Oracle has canceled the contract we had with RightNow Technologies which decreased our overall budget by $2,500. The MDT Fall Conference was quite informational. We don’t have our budget figure for 2014 yet but that number should be coming out soon. Work on the grant application has already started and will be ready for the January meeting. GALAVAN: Galavan added 11 new customers in September and gave a total of 1,740 rides in 19 days of service. Remember the “Commitment to Community” luncheon on Wednesday, October 24 at the Emerson from 12 to 1. Galavan will be closed the morning of the 26th for the fall all staff meeting and drivers’ meeting. There will be afternoon service as usual except for Belgrade. There is no Belgrade service that day.
