COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2213
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
FIXING THE CRITERIA USED IN ESTABLISHING INCOME ELIGIBILITY
FOR THE HOUSING REHABILITATION PROGRAM OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman,
1. That the Housing Rehabilitation Program originated by the Department of Housing I
and Urban Development and connected by the City of Bozeman was established to restore a
quality program of housing to the City of Bozeman, improve neighborhoods within the City
of Bozeman, and provide funds to low and moderate income homeowners to upgrade their homes
to safe, sanitary and decent standards.
2. That local program guidelines are set locally by the City Commission of the City
of Bozeman so long as each applicant meets the Department of Housing and Urban Development's
established eligibility which has previously been approved by this City Commission.
3. The City of Bozeman recognizes the personal life styles, lack of employment and
individual initiative are not, in and of themselves, sufficient criteria to be used in
establishing income eligibility.
