HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2207 Creating SID 625, paving and street drain in Valley Unit Subdivision: 6-18-80 .~....__. -~_.. .-... . .-.".. - . 78 COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2207 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, CREATING A SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT TO BE KNOWN AS SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 625 FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF REINFORCED CONCRETE STORM DRAINAGE PIPE (RCP), STORM DRAIN INLETS, DETENTION FACILITIES, DRAINAGE DITCH REALIGN- MENT AND DIVERSION, AND OTHER NECESSARY APPURTENANCES THERETO, I AND ASPHALTIC CONCRETE TYPE PAVEMENT ON YELLOWSTONE, TETON, FLAT- HEAD, EAST GRANITE, AND PONDERA AVENUES AND PORTIONS OF TOOLE, CASCADE, BROADWATER, BABCOCK, RAVALLI, AND FALLON STREETS AND A PORTION OF FERGUSON AVENUE IN THE VALLEY UNIT SUBDIVISION TO THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA. WHEREAS, at a regular session of the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, held on the 11th day of June, 1980, the said City Commission duly passed Commission Resolution No. 2202, declaring it to be the intention of the said City Commission to create a special improvement district to be known and designated as Special Improvement District No. 625 to the said City, for the purpose of construction and installation of reinforced concrete storm drainage pipe (RCP), storm drain inlets, detention facilities, drainage ditch realign- ment and diversion, and other necessary appurtenances thereto, and asphaltic concrete type pavement on Yellowstone, Teton, Flathead, East Granite, and Pondera Avenues and portions of Toole, Cascade, Broadwater, Babcock, Ravalli, and Fallon Streets and a portion of Ferguson Avenue in the Valley Unit Subdivision to the City of Bozeman, Montana, and said Commission Resolution No. 2202 is hereby referred to and made a part hereof for further particulars in respect to the boundaries of said Special Improvement District No. 625, and the estimated cost of said improvements and method of assessing the same against the property of said I di stri ct; and, WHEREAS, notice of the passage of said Commission Resolution No. 2202 was duly waived by the receipt of a Waiver of Hearing of Protests to Special Improvement District No. 625, submitted by Mr. & Mrs. Virgil Jahnke who are the only owners of real property within the district which will be assessed. The Commission accepted and approved said Waiver of Hear- ing of Protests to Special Improvement District No. 625. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN: Section 1 That the said Special Improvement District No. 625 of the City of Bozeman be, and the same is hereby created for the purpose of making improvements as in said Commission Resolution No. 2202 and hereinafter described. Section 2 That said special improvements be, and the same are, hereby ordered to be made in said Special Improvement District No. 625 as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, CREATING A SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT TO BE KNOWN I AS SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 625 FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF REINFORCED CONCRETE STORM DRAINAGE PIPE (RCP), STORM DRAIN*REALIGNMENT AND DIVERSION, AND OTHER NECESSARY APPURTENANCES THERETO, AND ASPHALTIC CONCRETE TYPE PAVEMENT ON YELLOWSTONE, TETON, FLATHEAD, EAST GRANITE, AND PONDERA AVENUES AND PORTIONS OF TOOLE, CASCADE, BROADWATER, BABCOCK, RAVALLI, AND FALLON STREETS AND A POR- TION OF FERGUSON AVENUE IN THE VALLEY UNIT SUBDIVISION TO THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA. *INLETS, DETENTION FACILITIES, DRAINAGE DITCH COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2207 -.... . .-- -...--. -.-...- 79 Section 3 That the entire cost and expense of maintaining the improvements herein referred to in said Special Improvement District No. 625, shall be assessed against the entire district. Each lot, block, tract or parcel of land within the district will be assessed for that por- I tion of the whole cost which its area bears to the area of the entire district exclusive of streets, avenues, and public places. The total number of feet of assessable footage within the district is 4,038,407.22 square feet and is the area on which all assessments will be calculated. Section 4 That any and all construction districts within the same boundaries and serving the same area are hereby declared abandoned and terminated.
