COMMISSION RESOLUTION
NO. 2204
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, CREATING A SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT TO BE KNOWN
AS SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 622 FOR THE PURPOSE OF
CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF TRUNK WATER SUPPLY MAINS
AND APPURTENANCES TO THE VALLEY UNIT SUBDIVISION AND OTHER
SERVICE AREAS IN THE CITY OF BOZEMAN AND MORE SPECIFICALLY
DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
A 12-INCH WATER MAIN EXTENSION AND

APPURTENANCES FROM WEST COLLEGE ALONG THE SOUTH RIGHT OF
WAY OF U.S. 191 TO FOWLER LANE A 10-INCH WATER MAIN EXTEN-
SION ALONG WEST MAIN TO FOWLER AVENUE.
THE CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF THE TRUNK WATER MAINS
IS TO INCLUDE ALL TRENCH EXCAVATION AND BACKFILL, BEDDING
MATERIAL, DUCTILE IRON WATER MAINS, VALVES AND FITTINGS,
HIGHWAY JACK AND BORE, AND OTHER NECESSARY APPURTENANCES
THERETO.
WHEREAS, at a regular session of the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, held on the
11th day of June, 1980, the said City Commission duly passed Commission Resolution No. 2199,
declaring it to be the intention of the said City Commission to create a special improvement
district to be known and designated as Special Improvement District No. 622 to the said City,
for the purpose of construction and installation of trunk water supply mains and appurtenances
to the Valley Unit Subdivision and other service areas in the City of Bozeman, and said
Commission Resolution No. 2199 is hereby referred to and made a part hereof for further par-
ticulars in respect to the boundaries of said Special Improvement District No. 622, and the
estimated cost of said improvements and method of assessing the same against the property of
said district; and
WHEREAS, notice of the passage of said Commission Resolution No. 2199 was duly waived by

the receipt of a Waiver of Hearing of Protests to Special Improvemnt District No. 622, sub-
mitted by Mr. & Mrs. Virgil Jahnke who are the only owners of real property within the dis-
trict which will be assessed.
The Commission accepted and approved said Waiver of Hearing
of Protests to Special Improvement District No. 622.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN:
Section 1
That the said Special Improvement District No. 622 of the City of Bozeman be, and the
same is hereby created for the purpose of making improvements as in said Commission Resolution
No. 2199 and hereinafter described.
Section 2
That said special improvements be, and the same are, hereby ordered to be made in said
Special Improvement District No. 622 as follows:

Section
3
That the entire cost
and expense of maintaining the improvements herein referred to in
said Special Improvement District No. 622. shall be assessed against the entire district.
Each lot. block. tract or parcel of land within the district will be assessed for that por-

tion of the whole cost which its area bears to the area of the entire district exclusive
of streets. avenues. and public places.
The total number of feet of assessable footage
within the district is 7.270.877.84 square feet and is
the area on which all assessments
will be calculated.
Section
4
That any and all construction
districts within the same boundaries and serving the
same area are hereby declared abandoned and terminated.

the City Commission of the City of Bozeman. at a regular session
held thereof on the 18th day of June. 1980.
