COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2203
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA
CREATING A SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT TO BE KNOWN AS
SPECIAL IMPROVE-
MENT DISTRICT NO. 621 FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTION AND
INSTALLATION
OF A SANITARY SEWER TRUNK TO INTERCEPT SEWAGE FROM THE
VALLEY UNIT
SUBDIVISION TO THE CITY OF BOZEMAN AND OTHERS AND MORE
SPECIFICALLY
DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
I
A SANITARY SEWER LINE TO BE KNOWN AS THE "FAR WEST TRUNK"
WITH PIPE
SIZES OF 18 AND 21 INCHES AND APPURTENANCES TO TRANSPORT
WASTEWATER
FROM THE VALLEY UNIT SUBDIVISION AND OTHER SERVICE AREAS
IN THE CITY
OF BOZEMAN TO THE WEST END INTERCEPTOR.
THE CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALL-
ATION OF THE SEWER TRUNK TO INCLUDE ALL TRENCH EXCAVATION
AND BACK-
FILL, BEDDING MATERIAL, SEWER PIPE, MANHOLES, STUB OUTS
AND OTHER
NECESSARY APPURTENANCES.
WHEREAS, at a regular session of the City Commission of
the City of Bozeman, held on
the 11th day of June, 1980, the said City Commission duly
passed Commission Resolution No.
2198, declaring it to be the intention of the said City
Commission to create a special
improvement district to be known and designated as Special
Improvement District No. 621 to
the said City, for the purpose of construction and installation
of a sanitary sewer trunk
to intercept sewage from the Valley Unit Subdivision to
the City of Bozeman and others, and
said Commission Resolution No. 2198 is hereby referred
to and made a part hereof for fur-
ther particulars in respect to the boundaries of said Special
Improvement District No. 621,
that the estimated cost of said improvements and method
of assessing the same against the
property of said district; and
WHEREAS, notice of the passage of said Commission Resolution
No. 2198 was duly waived
by the receipt of a Waiver of Hearing of Protests to Special
Improvement District No. 621, I
submitted by Mr. & Mrs. Virgil Jahnke who are the only
owners of real property within the
district which will be assessed.
The Commission accepted and approved said Waiver of Hearing
of Protests to Special Improvement District No. 621.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOZEMAN:
Section 1
That the said Special Improvement District No. 621 of the
City of Bozeman be, and the
same is hereby created for the purpose of making improvements
as in said Commission Resolution
No. 2198 and hereinafter described.
Section 2
That said special improvements be, and the same are, hereby
ordered to be made in said
Special Improvement District No. 621 as follows:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, CREATING A SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT TO BE
KNOWN
AS SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 621 FOR THE PURPOSE
OF
CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF A SANITARY SEWER TRUNK
TO
INTERCEPT SEWAGE FROM THE VALLEY UNIT SUBDIVISION TO THE
CITY OF BOZEMAN AND OTHERS AND MORE SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED
AS FOLLOWS:

A SANITARY SEWER LINE TO BE KNOWN AS THE "FAR WEST TRUNK'1
WITH
PIPE SIZES OF 18 AND 21 INCHES AN APPURTENANCES TO TRANSPORT
WASTEWATER FROM THE VALLEY UNIT SUBDIVISION AND OTHER SERVICE
AREAS IN THE CITY OF BOZEMAN TO THE WEST END INTERCEPTOR.
THE
CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF THE SEWER TURNK TO INCLUDE
ALL
TRENCH EXCAVATION AND BACKFILL, BEDDING MATERIAL, SEWER
PIPE,
MANHOLES, STUB OUTS AND OTHER NECESSARY APPURTENANCES.
Section 3
That the entire cost and expense of maintaining the improvements
herein referred to in
COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2203

said Special Improvement District No. 621, shall be assessed against the entire district.
Each lot, block, tract or parcel of land within the district will be assessed for that
portion of the whole cost which its area bears to the area of the entire district exclusive
of streets, avenues, and public places.
The total number of feet of assessable footage

within the district is 9,765,441.30 feet2 and is the area on which all assessments will be
calculated.
Section 4
That any and all construction districts within the same boundaries and serving the same
area are hereby declared abandoned and terminated.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, at a regular session
held thereof on the 18th day of June, 1980.
