A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BOZEMAN, MONTANA, ESTABLISHING
AND AFFIXING THE NUMBER
OF MILLS TO BE CHARGED
AGAINST THE ASSESSED VALUATION
OF ALL TAXABLE PROPERTY
SITUATED WITHIN THE CORPORATE
JURISDICTIONAL BOUNDARIES
OF THE CITY FOR FISCAL YEAR

1980-1981.
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 7-6-4407, M.C.A., a resolution must be
adopted by the City Commission in order to determine the
amount of the City or Town taxes to
be levied and assessed on the taxable property situated within the City for the current fiscal
year; and
WHEREAS, the Clerk of
the City Commission must certify to the County Clerk
a copy of such resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLV~D by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman,
Montana, as follows:
SECTION 1
That for the purpose
of providing and maintaining basic City services, the
City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, does hereby affix 64.94 mills to be levied for
the All-Purpose General Fund for all salaries, operations and capital expenditures for general
government purposes as provided by Section 7-6-4451, M.C.A.
SECTION 2
That the City Commission
of the City of Bozeman hereby affixes a 2.57 mill

levy for the State-mandated Police Retirement System in order to maintain payments to the State-
administered Police Retirement System in accordance with
Section 19-9-704, f1.C.A.
SECTION 3
That the City Commission
of the City of Bozeman, Montana, hereby affixes
1.87 mills to be levied for the purpose of maintaining the State-mandated City contribution
for the Police Retirement Unfunded Liability, which provides for all actuarial costs established
by the State Retirement System, as required by that body, said 1.87 mill levy to be established
in accordance with Section 19-9-704, M.C.A.
SECTION 4
- . The City Commission
of the City of Bozeman, Montana, hereby establishes and
affixes a 1.81 mill levy to provide for the total City payment of premiums for Firefighters and
Police Officers Health/Medical Insurance, as required by the State of Montana.
Said 1.81 mills
to be affixed in accordance with Section 7-32-4117 and 7-33-4130, H.C.A.
SECTION 5
That the City Commission
of the City of Bozeman, Montana, does hereby affix

and establish a mill levy in the amount of 2.18 mills to provide for City contribution to the
State retirement system for employees other than Firefighters
and Police Officers, said money
to be paid to the Public Employees' Retirement System (P.E.R.S.).
The above-referenced 2.18
mill levy to be affixed in accordance with Section 19-3-204, M.C.A.
SECTION 6
The City Commission of
the City of Bozeman, f1ontana, does hereby establish
and affix a mill levy in the amount of 2.68 mills to provide funds for Comprehensive Insurance

protection and coverage for the City of Bozeman. Montana.
Said mill levy amounting to 2.68
mills is herein affixed in accordance with Section 2-9-212. M.C.A.
SECTION 7
That the City Commission
of the City of Bozeman. ~1ontana. does herein
establish and affix a mill levy amounting to 2.00 mills to provide funds for the operation of

the City-County Planning activity.
Said mill levy amounting to 2.00 mills is hereby estab-
lished and affixed in accordance with Section 76-1-406. M.C.A.
SECTION 8
That the City Commission
of the City of Bozeman. Montana. does hereby
establish a mill levy in the amount of 1.37 mills to provide for the principal and interest
payments on outstanding City Hall General Obligation Bonds.
Said 1.37 mill levy established
herein shall be affixed in accordance with Section 7-7-4265. M.C.A.
SECTION 9
That the City Commission
of the City of Bozeman. Montana. does hereby estab-
lish and affix 3.33 mills to provide for the existing principal and interest payments on out-
standing Recreational Facilities General Obligation Bonds.
Said 3.33 mills are hereby established
and affixed in accordance with Section 7-7-4265. M.C.A.
SECTION 10
That the City Commission
of the City of Bozeman. Montana does hereby estab-

lish and' affix 2.64 mills to provide for the existing principal and interest payments on out-
standing Senior Center General Obligation Bonds.
That the 2.64 mill levy herein established

is hereby affixed in accordance with Section 7-7-4265. M.C.A.
SECTION 11
The City Commission of
the City of Bozeman. Montana. does herewith establish
a 6.50 mill levy to provide for principal and interest payments on outstanding Library General
Obligation Bonds. That the
6.50 mill levy established herein is hereby affixed in accordance
with Section 7-7-4265. M.C.A.
SECTION 12
The City Commission of
the City of Bozeman. ~1ontana. does hereby establish
and affix 7.74 mills to provide the necessary funds for the City to maintain its present employ-
ees and continue services at existing levels. pursuant to an election held on June 3. 1980.
at which time said 7.74 mill issue was duly passed and approved by the electorate of the City
of Bozeman. in accordance with Section 7-6-4431. M.C.A.
SECTION 13
That the City Commission
of the City of Bozeman. Montana does hereby estab-
lish a mill levy in the amount of 3.70 mills to provide for the total City payment of premiums

for Health/Medical Insurance for City employees other than Firefighters and Police Officers.
Said 3.70 mills to be affixed in accordance with footnote to Section 11-1024. R.C.M.. 1947;
Section 2 of Chapter 359. Laws. 1975.
SECTION 14
That the City Commission
of the City of Bozeman. Montana. does hereby establish

a mill levy in the amount of .50 mills for the purpose providing revenue for the Special
Improvement District Revolving Fund.
Said .50 mills to be affixed in accordance with
Sections 7-12-4221 and 7-12-4222. M.C.A.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman.
