a. Postponed until we receive the next round of colored logos from Bunkers.
6) Website RFP Update
a. RFP is out! Meyer sent to a list of 19 people she compiled; E. Baker put it on
craigslist, and has seen quite a bit of interest (-10 people, quite a few local).
7) Website Content
a. Bentley: presented work on climate change 101.
i. Powell suggested highlighting the local connection: glacier np glaciers,
Mammouth temperature record.
ii. H. Baker suggested Greg Peterson at MSU could have relevant studies.
b. Moore: wants to help on the energy section. Suggested using E3A materials.
i. We should highlight how the price/watt of wind energy has fallen from $85 to $1.
Now is the time for wind.
ii. Bentley: Transit section
1. If group has comments, can see the content on the google doc, and contact
nick directly.
2. Q of biodiesel blends: Meyer said Story Distributing provides, but supply is
somewhat intermittent, and driven by demands ofYNP. City demand not
enough for them to supply it during the winter.
iii. Sinnott: Utility-Scale renewable energy
1. Moore: very interested to publicize the answer to the obvious question: where
does your energy come from?
iv. Energy Efficient Buildings
1. General discussion; Moore has many resources and ideas for this section.
Interesting question how we will decide which contractors to list on the site
(NWE list? MREA list? Some training technicians must do in order to be listed?)
2. Other: add 10% energy reduction challenge, weatherization assistance
programs for low-income. HRDC Karen Couch. Home Depot: bulk program.
v. Food, Water, Waste
1. Powell presented her outline for waste and food sections.
2. E. Baker will do the food section, to split up work load.
a. Food zone map, how has changed
b. CSA list on Coop website quite comprehensive.
3. Water: Meyer talked about interesting things happening with greywater, and
resources with waste reduction.
c. Moore suggested June 29th as a good goal for content to be mostly done.
i. Discussion, decided that by July 3rd meeting, we would like to have content
mostly done.
