This refers to your letter of August 7 , 1956 , addressed
to the Mayor and City Commissioners of the City of Bozeman,
in which you propose to install special street lighting on
Mendenhall Street extending from North Third Avenue to North
Church Street. Special Lighting Improvement District No . 385,
to authorize installation of and provide the means of payment
for special lighting on this street, has now been established
and this letter is to serve as acceptance of your proposal and
to authorize you to proceed with installation of the proposed
street lights .
The final and exact location of the 31 light posts to be
installed and specifications and grade of the bases for these
posts shall be subject to approval of the City Engineer and
you are requested to keep him informed on these matters prior
to the installation.
Subject to the conditions set forth herein, you are hereby
authorized to proceed with the installation of the thirty-one
luminaires with 10,000 lumen lamps mounted on 30 foot -teel poles
in accordance with your offer. When the installation is com-
pleted, and monthly thereafter, ou are authorized to bill the
City of Bozeman at the rate of �. 29 per month each for the
thirty-one lights .
