COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2333
A RESOLUTION
OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZH1AN, t10NTANA, DECLARING
IT TO BE THE
INTENTION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, TO CONTINUE TO ENFORCE
THE STATE BUILDING
AND MECHANICAL CODES IN THE CITY OF BOZH1AN, HONTANA, AS ~JELL
AS IN THE THREE-MILE
JURISDICTIONAL AREA.
I WHEREAS, the
1981 Montana State Legislative Session changed the Building Codes Statutes
as they apply to:
1.
Residential buildings containing less than five (5) dwelling units or their
attached-to structures;
2.
Private garage or private storage structures used only for the owner's own use; and
WHEREAS, it
is important to protect the health, safety and welfare of all its citizens as
well as those in the jurisdictional area as it relates to all residential
structures and accessory
buil dings.
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COHMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA:
DECLARATION OF INTENTION
It is hereby
declared to be the intention of the City of Bozeman to continue to enforce
the Uniform Building Code and the Uniform Mechanical Code, as adopted
by the State of Montana, in
their entirety, for all construction in the City of Bozeman, Montana,
and within the three-mile
jurisdictional area, save and except agriculture buildings as outlined
in the Bozeman Area Zoning
Code.
ADOPTED BY
THE CITY COMtHSSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEt1AN, at a regular and stated session of
said City Commission, held on the 24th day of June, 1981.
