COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2347
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, DECLARING IT
TO BE THE INTENTION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN TO ESTABLISH A 1983 CENTENNIAL
TRUST FUND FOR THE PURPOSE OF RECEIVING MONIES AND AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURES
IN CONNECTION WITH THE CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN IN 1983.
WHEREAS. the City of Bozeman was first chartered on April 9. 1883; and
WHEREAS, on April 9, 1983, the City of 80zeman will celebrate its 100th anniversary; and II
WHEREAS. a celebration befitting the occasion by all the citizens of Bozeman is in order; and
WHEREAS. certain funds will be necessary for said celebration;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN that it is
hereby declared to be the intention of the City of Bozeman to establish a 1983 Centennial Trust
Fund for the purpose of receiving monies, gifts and donations to aid in the celebration of Bozeman's
Centennial in 1983.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN that the Director
of Finance be hereby authorized and directed to transfer One Thousand and NollOO Dollars
($1,000.00) from the 1981-82 operating fund. as set forth in the FY 1981-82 Appropriation
Ordinance. to said 1983 Centennial Trust Fund.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN that the Director
of Finance be hereby authorized and directed to invest the 1983 Centennial Trust Fund. Interest
earned shall be returned to the fund. Expenditures shall be paid by warrants and approved by
the City Commission.
