Rouse, Gallatin Room • Call to Order • Review and Approve Minutes of March 7, 2012, April 4, and May 2, 2012 meetings. • Public Comments. • Changes/Additions to the Agenda • Preparation of Grant to City Parks Commission for benches • Building Signage for Fairgrounds' Grand Ave. Entrance for use by Senior Center • Seek Handicapped loading zones for buses at Wilson Building Sidewalk Ramp and MSU Reynolds Recital Hall • Goals for 2012 o Promote and secure Bozeman as one of three sites for the Governor's Conference on Aging in 2014 o Improve access in public places ■ Secure funds to build benches for Sweet Pea ■ Status of additional parking spaces for Senior Center. DONE ■ Build new Senior Center Entry Only signs for Fairgrounds Grand Ave • MSU • Report from James Goehrung, City ADA Coordinator and Board Liaison to MSU Disabilities Advisory Board • Access to facilities campus-wide • Status of obtaining an MSU liaison and/or intern • Promote Bozeman as one of three sites for the Governor's Conference on Aging • Prepare paragraph regarding Montana population demographics for use in the Board's written materials. • Increase awareness of Bozeman's present and potential value as a desirable retirement location • Develop criteria for 'senior friendly' designation and find ways to recognize local businesses for their efforts. o Write letters to the Editor of the Bozeman Daily Chronicle recognizing local businesses for their senior friendliness. • Adjournment "Making Bozeman the Most Senior Friendly City in Montana"
