1) Planting site must be on city property, inside the city Iimits.
2) Site must be to final landscape grade, irrigated, and suitable for species selected.

Every Day is Arbor Day for the Bozeman City Tree Advisory Board and the City's Forestry
Division.
Started in Nebraska in 1885, Arbor Day promotes the planting of trees. Officially, Arbor
Day is celebrated on the last Friday in April.
Bozeman's City Forestry Division is planting trees for our community & you can too.
Trees filter air pollution, buffer climate change, increases oxygen and decreases carbon
dioxide in the air.
They can reduce home energy costs and increase property value. Plus trees are
beautiful and the shade is cool.
With continued losses to our urban forest and wildlife habitat, it's a good idea to plant a
new tree.
If you are replacing a boulevard tree you may even qualify for help from one of the city's
tree planting programs.
Information is available at 582-3200 or online at Bozeman.net.
