Human Resource Development Council, IX
Director's Report
February 28, 2012
STREAMLINE: All of the Streamline buses are up and running with the exception of 606
which is being used as a parts bus at this time. As soon as those missing parts arrive we will
have a full fleet in service. We are currently using the two 35-passenger buses to run to
Livingston and Belgrade.
We are continuing to use the stop at the Bridger Peak Town Center. I am still waiting for a
written reply to my request for clarification.
There are currently two open positions on the Streamline Board. If you know of someone who
would make an outstanding board member, please have them apply. The application will soon
be available on line through our website. Until then contact Kristin Hamburg for an
application. Colleen and Rosie are the nominating committee.
The MDT Grant application is complete and ready for the final approval by the HRDC Board
of Directors/Executive Committee. Thanks to everyone who voted via email.
I have the go ahead to move forward with our TDP so that call for bids will go out this week.
GALAVAN: Galavan added 21 new customers in January and gave a total of 2,135 rides in
21 days of service.
I have not seen the RouteMatch contract but we did have a very informative conference
call about the system a couple of weeks ago with Adam and Steven from Helena and
Teague from Denver.
Galavan is working with the Food Bank and MSU to create a mobile "Farmers' Market."
It is a good way to re-use one of our old buses and help the community as well.
