It is the face of the organization. The logo is simply the emblem that communicates the brand. F. Special Presentation—Benjamin Bennett of Massive Studios a. Continue Core Values& Positioning Statement Exercise Bennett suggested an initial list of words for our core values based on the lists that the working group members submitted: Communication, Education, Creativity, Leadership, and Unity. From this list, the group distilled it down to: Connect, Inspire, Create, and Act There was discussion that the core values and positioning statement need to appeal to locals or"native"Montanans since the perception among locals is that outsiders always come to town and attempt to change things. We can make an effort to communicate a more universal message that Bozeman is growing and we need to strive to make this inevitable growth sustainable, embrace smart growth, complete streets—growth that will make Bozeman a stronger and economically robust community. Bennett began the conversation related to the positioning statement. He suggested one statement that was submitted on Facebook:Action is Now, Environment is Forever. Many concurred in the group that this was the right sentiment. At 3.0:35,the meeting wrapped up and the group decided to continue the conversation about the positioning statement at the next meeting. There were no assigned tasks outlined. G. Meeting adjourned at 3.0:35am.
