1. Our letters and phone calls from Santa program is in full swing! Holly has been doing a lot of TV
and radio interviews to promote it. To date we have 100 kids on our list. We will send letters
on December 16 and make phone calls on December 17.
2. Breakfast with Santa program is on December 23 at 10:OOam for kids age 2 and up and their
parents. Great opportunity to get pictures taken with Santa!
3. We are in the process of hiring 2 recreation leaders. One is a regular part time position and one
is a winter seasonal who will teach our ice skating lessons in January and February at the
Southside rink.
4. Ron and I are working with Greg Sullivan to finalize a contract draft that can be used for
contracted program instructors. We are starting to make plans for summer offerings .
5. We are working with Barker Rinker Seacat in association with Comma Q on the Recreation and
Aquatics feasibility study. We had a conference call today to discuss the scope of work. We are
in the early stages.
6. Ron will be putting the Bozeman Creek Enhancement project on the agenda for next month.
They are working on a plan for the section of the creek that runs through Bogert Park. He will
give you more details at the next meeting.
7. Ron along with GVLT has been looking at a property on North Church that may be up for sale at
a reduced rate. He is considering using cash-in-lieu funds. GVLT is looking into the possibility of
a connection to the Galligator.
8. Ron and Thom are still working on the park user fees. Per the commission's request,they are
coming up with several scenarios to bring back to them for discussion.
