SUBJECT: Reappointments to the Gallatin Local Water Quality District Board
MEETING DATE: November 28, 2011 MEETING TYPE: Action
RECOMMENDATION: Reappoint two members to the Gallatin Local Water Quality
District Board. BACKGROUND: The city representative and City Commission representative
positions on the Gallatin Local Water Quality District Board have expired. Both members would
like to serve another term.
The Gallatin Local Water Quality District was created by Resolution No. 1995-55 of the Gallatin County Commission, and approved by the Montana Board of Environmental Review in 1997. The focus of the Gallatin Local Water Quality District is water resources education and water
quality monitoring for increased awareness of water-related issues and public health.
This Board has one term for a City of Bozeman representative expiring and one term for a
City Commissioner expiring. Both members would like to reapply. Applicants seeking Reappointment: Randy Carpenter
