A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, ESTABLISHING A
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG)
LOAN REVIEW COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, the City of Bozeman is the recipient of a
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the State of
Montana for the purpose of establishing a Housing
Rehabilitation Loan Program; and
WHEREAS, the City is desirous of implementing a
"Deferred Payment Loan Program" and a "Low Interest Loan
Program" for the purpose of financing the rehabilitation of
low and moderate income housing units; and
WHEREAS, the confidential nature of application for
said loans dictates that they be reviewed and discussed in a
forum other than regularly scheduled meetings of the Bozeman
City Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA:
Section I
Creation of Committee
That there is hereby created a "CDBG Loan Review
Committee" which shall consist of five (5) members to be
recommended by the Community Development staff and appointed
by the City Commission.
Section 2
Purpose of Committee
That the purpose of the CDBG Loan Review Committee
shall be to examine all applications for assistance under
the "Deferred Payment Loan Program" and the "Lot Interest
Loan Program," to solicit such information as it deems
necessary in order to adequately review said applications,
to ensure that said applications meet eligibility criteria
as outlined in the program guidelines for the respective
loan programs, and to make funding recommendations to the
City Commission; and

Section 3
Term of Members
That each member of the CDBG Loan Review Committee
shall serve for a term of two years from the date of
appointment; and
Section 4
City Staff Liason
That the staff liason to the CDBG Loan Review Committee
shall be that member of the Bozeman City-County Planning
staff designated as the CDBG Program Manager.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Commission of the City of
Bozeman, Montana, at a regular session held thereof on the
