SUBJECT: Christenot Zone Map Amendment #Z-11170 – Open and Continue to November 28th
MEETING DATE: November 14, 2011
AGENDA ITEM TYPE: Action
RECOMMENDATION: The City Commission should open and continue the public hearing for
#Z-11170 to November 28, 2011.
RECOMMENDED MOTION: Based upon the open and continuing of the preceding Christenot annexation application, I move to open and continue the Christenot Zone Map Amendment for November 28, 2011.
BACKGROUND: The Christenot Zone Map Amendment (ZMA) was originally on the City
Commission’s agenda of August 29th, 2011 (in conjunction with the Christenot Annexation). As the annexation application was continued to allow further research and policy discussions, this corresponding ZMA application was continued as well. Assuming that the annexation is open
and continued until November 28th, this item should be scheduled for the same meeting.
As previously noted in the annexation open and continuance memorandum, staff will be re-
noticing the new dates to the public.
Staff has discussed this with the applicant and they have agreed to the continuance of this item until November 28, 2011.
