Request for Qualifications
The City of Bozeman is developing a list of firms interested in providing services for City owned
buildings. Request for Services include lawn mowing, lawn care, and carpet cleaning.
Lawn care services include — mowing, leaf clean -up, fertilization, weed control, and irrigation
system repairs. The city will follow LEED green building practices for all lawn care. Once each
vendor responds with their letter of interest, they will be provided with a site plan for each of the
properties requiring mowing and lawn care. Each party will be asked to submit a proposal for a
cost per time for mowing and fertilization. The size of the areas to be mowed range in size from
a high of 19 acres to a quarter of an acre.
Carpet cleaning services and static treatment are for commercial grade carpets. The cleaning
scheduled will be two to three times a year. Once each vendor responds with their letter of
interest, they will be provided a description of each of the properties requiring cleaning. The city
will require the use of green certified cleaning products. Cleaning is often scheduled on holidays
and weekends so the disruption of our operations is minimized.
All subcontractors will need to provide proof of insurance at the level of coverage required by
the city, (details will be provided to respondents), upon an award of bid, hold a current City of
Bozeman business license, pay prevailing state wages, and agree to follow the city's non-
discrimination policy.
Interested vendors will submit a statement of interest and qualifications that includes the
following information: Business name, contact person, mailing address, phone number, and e-
mail address if available. A brief description of the services that can be provided, short history of
the business, materials and equipment to be used, and 3 professional business references.
