Modifications: •If a standard air receiver design will not meet your application, we can modify a standard vessel by adding fittings, changing a fitting size, adding special platform, etc. There is a minimum charge to modify a standard air receiver. If a standard vessel cannot be cost effectively modified to meet your needs, Silvan will custom design and fabricate exactly the product you require. Platforms: •Vessel platforms are furnished with NEMA motor frame slotting. We can also fabricate specialized platforms for specific applications. SILVAN AIR RECEIVER STOCKING LOCATIONS Warehouse Greensboro, NC Warehouse Memphis, TN Silvan Factory Marinette, WI Warehouse Houston, TX Warehouse Atlanta, GA Area Silvan Offers a Wide Variety of Ways to Finish Off Your Air Receiver! Painting & Epoxy Lining Silvan air receivers are abrasive blasted and are supplied standard with an exterior primed finish. However, Silvan has in-house capabilities for providing you with finish painting and interior coating of your air receiver. Pricing for finish painting is based on a Silvan-specified industrial enamel in your choice of the following standard “safety” colors: gray, black, white, blue, yellow, or green. Our standard primer has a Dry Film Thickness (DFT) of 1-1.2 mils. Our industrial enamels add an extra 1-1.5 mills of DFT and are suitable for applications where the continuous temperature does not exceed 300 °F. Epoxy pricing is based on a Silvan specified 2-coat gray epoxy with a Dry Film Thickness (DFT) of 5 to 10 mils and a maximum continuous temperature rating of 260 °F. Looking for a non-standard paint, color, or high-temp coating? Chances are we can meet your needs. Call us with your paint or coating specification and we will issue a quote for this service. Finish painted or epoxy coated standard air receivers will typically have a 1 to 2 week lead time. Products that are finish painted or coated on the exterior receive special protective packaging. Galvanizing We also have a streamlined program of supplying galvanized air receivers through one of our sub-contractors. Our Standard Galvanizing service ships directly from the galvanizer with threads brushed to remove excess galvanizing and a standard commercial galvanized finish. If you select our Premium Galvanizing service, your air receiver will be returned to Silvan’s plant after galvanizing for complete cleaning and inspection. Our Premium Service removes some of the irregular galvanizing build-up and brightens dull galvanizing areas that sometimes exist with a standard commercial galvanized finish. Note: Since it is not practical to uniformly buff an entire air receiver, our Premium Service may result in a vessel with areas of slightly different appearance. This results from the buffing operations that are performed to remove irregular areas of excess galvanizing. Products receiving our standard galvanizing service will typically have a leadtime of 3-4 weeks. The Premium Galvanizing Service will typically add an additional week. SILVAN INDUSTRIES, INC.
