HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2882 Revising zoning fees ~J ., ~ - ._~ '" " COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2882 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, REVISING THE FEE SCHEDULE FOR THE ZONE CODE. WHEREAS, the City Commission did, on the 11th day of March 1991, adopt Commission Resolution No. 2824, establishing a revised fee schedule for the Interim Zoning . Ordinance; and WHEREAS, the City Commission did, on the 3rd day of September 1991, did finally adopt the Bozeman Zoning Ordinance; and WHEREAS, at the City Commission's direction, Planning staff has monitored its hours and costs for processing various zoning applications over an eighteen month period; and WHEREAS, the City Commission recognizes the need to adjust the fees to more accurately reflect the costs spent in processing zoning projects and provide an incentive for more comprehensive applications which allow for expeditious processing. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana: . SECTION I That the following schedule of fees, utilized in conjunction with the zone code, shall be revised to read as follows: A. After-the-Fact Permits For all permits for which application is filed after the work has been started and is currently in process or completed, the amount of the fees listed above shall be doubled. Failure to obtain a permit prior to starting work may also be processed as a . misdemeanor through City Court, with the appropriate misdemeanor penalty to be set by the City Judge as an alternative to doubling the fees listed above. SECTION II That the fees set forth in the above schedule shall supercede those set forth in Commission Resolution No. 2824, and shall become effective November 15, 1992.
