SUBJECT: Water Treatment Plant – Skyridge Subdivision Property Owners
Agreement
MEETING DATE: August 22nd, 2011

RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the City Manager to sign the Agreement with the Skyridge
Subdivision Property Owners.
BACKGROUND: Attached is a copy of an Agreement between the City and the property
owners within the Skyridge Subdivision. Part of the property that the new water treatment plant
is constructed on will be on tract 6 of the Skyridge Subdivision. The city owns this tract. All
that will be constructed on this part of the property is a storage lagoon, drying beds, berming and
landscaping. The convents of the subdivision require that we obtain approval from the owners
association board of directors for the proposed construction. There is no established board of
directors for the association; therefore we need to obtain signatures all of the property owners.
This being the case we felt it would be most efficient to create an agreement that could simply be
signed by the property owners and returned. Engineering staff has reviewed the documents and
found them to be acceptable.
