Item # 1 — Call meeting to order:
a Chairperson Keck called the meeting to order at 12:00p.m.
Item #2 — Reviewmeeting agenda:
0 No changes requested
Item #3 — _Approve February 16, 2011 meeting minutes — Action Item:
• No public comment was presented
• Correct minutes date on page 1, Item #3 from 2001 to 201
Motion: 8oandmember Engler motioned hm approve the February 1G 2Q11 minutes with the requested
change.
Boardmember Hoch seconded the motion.
The motion passed unanimously.
Item #4 — Open Public Comment:

Item #5 — New Business:

Foreman Stover will set upa planting sometime inthe spring

No big plans for large events are being made because past planned events have been
snowed out or the weather was extremely cold

Chief Joseph Middle School will be the location for the Arbor Day planting. The school
will purchase two cost share trees and the Forestry Division will purchase several more
tree with the Arbor Day Grant, The trees will be planted im the boulevard ln front 0fthe
.school where they have irrigatiVn. NO date has been set yet, P0rernam Stover will let the
board know when the planting will be so they can be there. There is e master plan for
the area but itiS unknown iFit includes the boulevard. The school principal and grounds
people are aware Of the situation
• Arbor Day PS/\ is the same one they ran last year, all board members agreed to rerun
the ad this year onKGLT
• The Forestry Division will have table set up at the Bozeman Earth Day Event on April

Chairperson Keck encouraged board members to attend if they were interested, she went tothe City Tree Master Plan — strategy section:
Townsend Retreat and really learned a lot

• Chairperson Keck was recognized for her work on consolidating all the requests and changes
• The City Tree master Plan will be available on the Forestry webpage once it has been approved

Foreman Stover provided information on the Tree Talk being held March 31" at 6:30pm in the
City Commission Room at City Hall

The next meeting date is set for April 20 2811 from noon to1pmtobe held in the Madison
Room upstairs at City Hall, 121 N. Rouse Ave,
Motion: Boardmember Weiss motioned to adjourn the meeting at 12:59.
Boardmember Engler seconded the motion.
The motion passed unanimously.
