WHEREAS, Gallatin County has many characteristics that makes it
a wonderful place to live; and,
WHEREAS, all members of our community wish to retain a high
quality of life; and,
WHEREAS, we recognize that when families are strong and children
are successful communities Thrive; and,
WHEREAS, when communities create a culture where families and
children are supported everyone benefits; and,
WHEREAS, for ,25 years Thrive has designed signature programs
that support healthy family/child growth and development based on the
unique climate of the Gallatin Valley; and,
WHEREAS, the programs: the Parent Place, the Child Advancement
Project (CAP), the Parent Liaison Program, the Partnership Project, and
Girls for a Change ensure that families are strong and children are
successful;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED THAT I, Jeffrey K.
Krauss, Mayor of the City of Bozeman, Montana, do hereby proclaim
September to be Thriving Colmmunity Month. I urge everyone
to support families'and children this September, Our efforts will ensure a
thriving community.
