HomeMy WebLinkAbout(Re)Appointments to the Bozeman Historic Preservation Advisory Board.pdfCommission Memorandum REPORT TO: Honorable Mayor and City Commission FROM: Aimee Kissel, Deputy City Clerk/Advisory Board Coordinator Stacy Ulmen CMC, City Clerk SUBJECT: (Re)Appointments to the Bozeman Historic Preservation Advisory Board MEETING DATE: July 11, 2011 MEETING TYPE: Action RECOMMENDATION: Appoint up to three new members to the Bozeman Historic Preservation Advisory Board and reappoint four current members. In addition, swap representative terms. Recommended Motion: I move to make the following reappointments to the Bozeman Historic Preservation Advisory Board: Jared Infanger as a professional representative, Paul Reichert as an at-large representative, and Ann Sherwood and Jecyn Bremer as Historic District representatives. I also move to appoint Steven Keuch, Jennifer Britton and Angela King Keesee as at-large representatives and move to change Bruce Brown’s position from at large to Historic District representative. BACKGROUND: This board currently has two ongoing vacancies and seven terms which expired June 30, 2011. Three new applicants and four current members have applied. One member would also like to swap terms from at large to Historic District representative so as to free up an additional at large position. Since the swapping terms, etc. has made the final outcome confusing – I have offered the above motion if you would like to appoint and reappoint everyone applying for a new term. If everyone is appointed as recommended, two vacancies will remain and the end composition of the board will be as follows: Anne Sherwood Historic District June 30, 2013 Steven Keuch At-large June 30, 2013 Jecyn Bremer Historic District June 30, 2013 Jennifer Britton At-large June 30, 2013 Angela King Keesee At-large June 30, 2013 328 Jared Infanger Professional June 30, 2013 Paul Reichert At-large June 30, 2013 Boone Nolte Professional June 30, 2012 Lora Dalton Historic District June 30, 2012 Ryan Olson Main Street June 30, 2012 Bruce Brown Historic District June 30, 2012 Lesley Gilmore Professional June 30, 2012 Mark Hufstetler Professional June 30, 2012 Vacancy At-large June 30, 2013 Vacancy At-large June 30, 2012 The Bozeman Historic Preservation Advisory Board was created under Chapter 2.80 of the Bozeman Municipal Code.
