SUBJECT: Appointment to the Impact Fee Advisory Committee
MEETING DATE: June 13, 2011

RECOMMENDATION: Appoint one new member to the Impact Fee Advisory Committee.
BACKGROUND: There are four ongoing vacancies on this Committee. One new application
has been received. The applicant is a general contractor however the builder position is already
filled. This applicant could fit in the ‘other member as selected by the City Commission’
position.
The Impact Fee Advisory Committee, established under 7-6-1604, MCA, shall consist of nine
members to be appointed by the City Commission. The members shall be
the City Engineer;
the City Finance Director;
a certified public accountant who shall hold no other public office or employment;
1 builder;
1 land developer;
2 citizens of Bozeman not employed in the development industry; and
2 other members as selected by the City Commission.
A majority of members must be residents of the City of Bozeman. Appointments are made for
two years. The Committee will act in an advisory capacity to the City Commission.
This board currently has four vacancies with one new applicant.
