The power called out on the panel schedule on E2.1 is 208v. This can be remedied with the addition of a transformer or a new crane unit can be ordered. Please advise as to how to proceed. Answer Please put together pricing for supplying and installing the required transformer. As discussed, the unit should be mounted outside the building, a wall mount kit may be preferred. Attached is a sketch showing 2 possible locations, and below are Wade!s comments on which location is preferred (location I based on traffic flow). Please indicate required bollards and/or cone pads (if not wall mounted) and which location would be most cost effective. Wade: "I like location 1 due to the bollard and traffic flow, location 2 would work also as long as the sformer was not too far away from the building due to the vehicle traffic flow along the side of the building, vina snow etc. I remember Brian saying that there was a issue with underground utilities in area 2. As always it comes down to the balance of functionality verses cost, That being said, if the transformer could be protected in area 2 It will probably be the cost effective place to put it. If area 2 is used, I would like to mention that during our walk around I noticed that there was a step down just as you exited the west side man doors. There was discussion of building the area up with some sort of material, Should we be pouring a concrete pad for this transformer, I would also like to look at the cost of including that to encompass the door area." attached sketch Answered by.
