SUBJECT: Receipt of the Mayor’s Community Climate Action Plan
MEETING DATE: February 28, 2011

RECOMMENDATION: Acknowledge Receipt of Mayor’s Community Climate Action Plan
document.
BACKGROUND: The Mayor’s Community Climate Action Plan will be given to each
Commissioner in hard-copy form on February 28, 2011. It will also be made available to the
public on the City’s website www.bozeman.net on that day. This will give Commissioners
approximately 30 days to review the document before our final presentation.
Formal public presentation of the Mayor’s Community Climate Action Plan will be given at the
Commission meeting on March 28, 2011.
FISCAL EFFECTS: Although the Mayor’s Community Climate Action Plan may
ultimately have financial implications for the City of Bozeman and the community, this step in
the process has no fiscal effect.
ALTERNATIVES: As suggested by the City Commission.
