SUBJECT: Appointments to the Zoning Commission
MEETING DATE: February 22, 2011
MEETING TYPE: Action
RECOMMENDATION: Appoint two members to the Zoning Commission.
BACKGROUND: Two vacancies currently exist on the Zoning Commission. Two
new applications have been received.
The Zoning Commission was re-created under Ordinance No. 1500, to establish procedures for
the administration of the municipal zoning ordinance within the City limits. Resolution No.
3312 then established the membership of the Zoning Commission saying,
The Zoning Commission shall consist of five members appointed by the City Commission.
Members of the board shall serve two-year staggered terms. Persons of legal age may be
appointed to the board. All members must be residents of the City of Bozeman.
This Commission has two vacancies and two applicants.
