Kukulski, City Manager SUBJECT: Appointment to the Impact Fee Advisory Committee MEETING DATE: January 18, 2011 MEETING TYPE: Action RECOMMENDATION: Appoint one new member to the Impact Fee Advisory Committee. BACKGROUND: There are five ongoing vacancies on this Committee. One new application has been received. The applicant appears to fit the builder representative position best. The Impact Fee Advisory Committee, established under 7-6-1604, MCA, shall consist of nine members to be appointed by the City Commission. The members shall be the City Engineer; the City Finance Director; a certified public accountant who shall hold no other public office or employment; 1 builder; 1 land developer; 2 citizens of Bozeman not employed in the development industry; and 2 other members as selected by the City Commission. A majority of members must be residents of the City of Bozeman. Appointments are made for two years. The Committee will act in an advisory capacity to the City Commission. PLEASE NOTE: Per Ordinance No. 1759, revising Chapter 2.01 of the Bozeman Municipal Code, all board members are required to attend a yearly ethics workshop provided free of charge by the City as a condition of service as a member of a board.
