COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 3556
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONT ANA, DECLARING IT TO BE THE INTENTION OF THE CITY
OF BOZEMAN
TO SELL A CERTAIN SURPLUS ITEM FROM THE WASTEWATER DEPARTMENT
TO A COUNTY OR OTHER POLITICAL SUBDIVISION WITHIN THE
STATE OF
MONTANA.
WHEREAS, the City of Bozeman has acquired a new replacement
sewer main television system;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Bozeman no longer has a need for
the old sewer television truck; and
WHEREAS, Section 7-8-101 (2), Montana Code Annotated,
grants the City of Bozeman the power
to dispose of any property which is not necessary for the conduct ofthe City business to any county or other
political subdivision without an ordinance, public auction, bids or appraisal.
Montana: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission
of the City of Bozeman,
Section 1
That it is hereby declared to be in the best interests
of the City of Bozeman to dispose of the 1991
GMC Aries sewer television truck, VIN No. 2GTGG39K7M4501234 to the City of Three Forks, a political
subdivision ofthe State of Montana, for the purchase price of $14,000, which is equal to the truck's trade-in
value. The City of Three Forks will enter into a promissory note agreeing to pay the City of Bozeman $7,000
upon delivery of the truck and the remainder on or before July 31,2003.
Section 2
That, pursuant to Section 7-1-4127, M.C.A., the Clerk
of the Commission shall cause notice to
be published in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle at least once a week for three (3) successive weeks, which
notice shall be to the effect that such Resolution has been duly and legally passed and further expressing
the City's intent to dispose of the item listed in Section 1, in the manner described herein.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City
of Bozeman, Montana, at a regular
session thereof held on the 12th day of November, 2002.

NOTICE
The City of Bozeman, having passed Commission Resolution
No. 3556, and pursuant to the
provisions of Section 7-8-101 (2), Montana Code Annotated, hereby serves notice of its intent to dispose of
a 1991 GMC Aries sewer television truck previously used in the City of Bozeman to the City of Three Forks,
a political subdivision of the State of Montana.
