The City of Bozeman has successfully completed the Endorsement for Employment Practices
Coverage Three Year Renewal,
Enclosed please find the Endorsement for Employment Practices Coverage Under The
Memorandum of Liability Coverage. The Endorsement for Employment Practices Coverage
should be maintained with the Memorandum of Liability Coverage Documents. The
Endorsement for Employment Practices Coverage is effective as of November 29, 2010 and
should be renewed on an annual basis.
The City's personnel policies were strictly reviewed for the criteria necessary for this
F ndorsement and were not reviewed for general content or statutory compliance. Consequently,
conu regarding the Endorsement should not be construed as approbation of the personnel
policy manual in general.
Any changes to your City's personnel policy manual should always be examined by your City
Attorney before being implemented. If a policy is out of statutory compliance and results in a
violation of the law, especially if it is a willful violation, then exceptions language within the
:Memorandum of Liability Coverage may be activated and coverage may be denied, even under
the Fndorsement.
