COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 3595
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF AN APPLICATION TO THE
STATE OF
MONTANA DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) MONIES.
WHEREAS, the City of Bozeman is applying to the Montana
Department of Commerce for a
Community Development Block Grant, on behalf of Reach, Inc., to assist in construction of a new
vocational training and work center for developmentally disabled individuals; and
WHEREAS, the City of Bozeman has conducted at least two
public hearings in conformance with
CDBG requirements to obtain the views of citizen on community development and housing needs, and on
the proposed activities; and
WHEREAS, Reach, Inc., has the legal jurisdiction and authority
to construct, finance, operate
and maintain the vocational training and work center for developmentally disabled individuals.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of
the City of Bozeman,
Montana:
Section 1
That the City of Bozeman agrees to conform with the regulations,
statutes, terms and conditions
described in the Community Development Block Grant Certifications for Application.
Section 2
That the City of Bozeman's submittal is based upon and pursuant
to the commitment by Reach,
Inc., to provide the matching funds as proposed in the Community Development Block Grant application.
Section 3
That Clark V. Johnson, City Manager of the City of Bozeman,
is authorized to submit this
application to the Montana Department of Commerce, on behalf of the City of Bozeman, to act on behalf
of the City of Bozeman, and to provide such additional information as may be required.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of
Bozeman, Montana, at a regular
session thereof held on the 19th day of May 2003.
