COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 3613
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, DECLARING IT TO BE THE INTENTION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN
TO TRANSFER INTEREST IN CERTAIN SURPLUS ITEMS FROM THE CITY OF
BOZEMAN TO A COUNTY OR OTHER POLITICAL SUBDIVISION WITHIN THE
STATE OF MONTANA.
WHEREAS, the City of Bozeman has acquired a new telephone system; and
WHEREAS, the City of Bozeman no longer has a need for the old telephone
system, which was
jointly purchased with Gallatin County; and
WHEREAS, Section 7-8-101 (2), Montana Code Annotated, grants the City
of Bozeman the
power to dispose of any property which is not necessary for the conduct of the City business to any
county or other political subdivision without an ordinance, public auction, bids or appraisal.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of
Bozeman,
Montana:
Section 1
That it is hereby declared to be in the best interests of the City
of Bozeman to transfer its
interests in the jointly purchased Rolm 9200 telephone system, for which the City's portion of the costs
was $133,797.86 to Gallatin County, a political subdivision ofthe State of Montana, for good and valuable
consideration.
Section 2
That, pursuant to Section 7-8-101, M.C.A., the Clerk of the Commission
shall cause notice to
be published in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle at least once a week for three (3) successive weeks, which
notice shall be to the effect that such Resolution has been duly and legally passed and further expressing
the City's intent to dispose of the item listed in Section 1, in the manner described herein.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana,
at a
regular session thereof held on the 18th day of August 2003.

NOTICE
The City of Bozeman, having passed Commission Resolution No. 3613,
and pursuant to the
provisions of Section 7-8-101, Montana Code Annotated, hereby serves notice of its intent to transfer
interest in the jointly purchased Rolm 9200 telephone system to Gallatin County, a political subdivision
of the State of Montana.
