BACKGROUND: The Gallatin County general election ballot for November 2, 2010 includes a municipal ballot issue which is being placed before the city voters due to a 2006 Bozeman City Charter requirement. Please see attached general election ballot sample for actual ballot
language. Additional background can also be found in the attached memorandums originating
from prior City Commission meetings in which this ballot language was discussed, formalized
and forwarded to the County elections department.
