COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 3655
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, PROVIDING FOR AN INCREASE IN THE NUMBER OF MEMBERS ON
THE DOWNTOWN BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT (BID) BOARD.
WHEREAS, Title 7, Chapter 12, Part 11, Montana Code Annotated, provides for the creation of
business improvement districts; and
WHEREAS, on the 15th day of May 2000, the City Commission adopted Ordinance No. 1517 and
Commission Resolution No. 3361, creating a business improvement district in the City's downtown area;
and
WH EREAS, Section 7-12-1121 provides for the appointment of a board of trustees for the
business improvement district, comprised of five to seven owners or property within the district; and
WHEREAS, on the 5th day of June 2000, the City Commission appointed five owners of property
within the district to serve on the Downtown Business Improvement District (BID) Board; and
WHEREAS, the Downtown Business Improvement District Board has requested that its
membership be expanded to seven members.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman,
Montana:
Section 1
That membership on the Downtown Business Improvement District Board shall be expanded to
allow for up to seven members, in accordance with the provisions of Section 7-12-1121, Montana Code
Annotated.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, at a regular
session thereof held on the 17th day of February 2~ /
